"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

im at my uncle's house right now. im not supposed to be online, but ehhh what can i say? im addicted and bored. so today was pretty fun, but i didnt take enough pictures! boo. angela picked me up and we went to her (uncle's) house because she needed to change into some formal wear since tiff never told her. we spent quite a while trying to decide what she was going to wear. i think it turned out fine though. so then we picked up maria and headed off to menlo park to a restaurant called capaccios (sp?). food was really expensive. i think each of us paid around 30 bucks. jon kept eating. he is a beast. he ate so much of the appetizer bread, finished my soup, ate a lot of calamari, ate his main course, finished tiff's lasagna, and drank a lot of coke and water. yet he remains skinny. yes, SKINNY AS A STICK! ah yes i also gave christine the swarvoski crystal PURPLE bracelet that my mommy made and she loves it! :D after dinner we strolled around downtown palo alto and had some gelato. mm i regret that because i ended up with brain freeze and a stomachache. walked to blockbuster to see if chicago was out, but it wasnt. walked around some more. jon was walking so slow and since i was afraid of getting raped in the night i had to walk slowly along with him. we all went home our separate ways and angela decided to stay home instead of driving back to davis because to probably avoid the troubles of her parents. they have deep conversations about novels. interesting.. my parents and i talk about school and who they want me to marry. then again my dad doesnt read novels, and neither do i! hahah. nonetheless my uncle and aunt remind me of an older version of my parents. its amusing to watch.. especially when my uncle said "it's dangerous to drive in the night because someone will purposely cause an accident and then attack you." same thing that my mom always tells me. i dont want to go to tennis tomorrow :[
