"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

i just read jen's livejournal entry on mr. ha. i was planning to write about this too when it happened, but i don't remember why i didnt.. probably because i had to study for a number amount of tests and i got preoccupied since i knew the entry would turn out long.

mr. ha... that guy. he is the funniest and most entertaining teacher that i have ever had. however, he brings up the subject about christianity here and there, and he likes to ridicule and judge this "religion." everyone laughs when he makes fun of the stereotypical christians that he meets and the experiences that he underwent during college. sometimes i silently laugh/scoff at him when he does this.. i dont think its because i find it humorous, it's more like.. disappointment that he hasn't experienced the true feeling of God's love. in jen's entry, he was basically mocking jen and me that day. i was also that "random student" who asked him why he got sick on the retreat he attended. he uproariously shouted and pointed at me like it was my fault ASK YOUR GOD. those words hurt me so much because i was just so upset that mr ha, a sarcastic cynical guy, bashed on God when it was Him who died for mr ha because of His love for a sinner like him (okay i think that sentence structure sucked right there but im going to continue). after mr ha said that phrase, the majority of the class started laughing hysterically. i looked around the classroom. many of the people who claimed they loved God... were laughing in unison. i could not believe it. why would they partake in ridicule in their SAVIOR like that? it was like they were playing "rebels of God" for the day. im fed up with disappointment in my friends who call themselves so called "christians." i know that we arent perfect... but sometimes i just really wish people could act like a new generation that walks and reflects in the light and blood of Jesus.

im also sick of mr ha making fun of ms.feng. i think he secretly wants her.

other than all of that above, mr ha r0xz0rz to the maxz0rz.
