"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

I'm going to try to type properly with better grammer and punctuation.

I absolutely love winter. I probably love it more than I adore summer. Summer is great because first of all there's no school, and that just gives it a ton of plus points. Additionally, my birthday is in July, I love the water, and I like drinking Jamba Juice on a scorching afternoon. Tanning is also fun. :)

Back to winter. I love the weather, and mostly because it RAINS. I'm not talking about that spasmodic weak sauce drizzle. I'm talking about the rain pouring outside for long hours. I like to press my fingertips against the frigid windows and watch the rain come down. It's fun to watch my breath make white clouds onto the glass and know that I'm warm inside. I've always wanted someone to hold my hand and walk with me under a big black umbrella. We'd dodge the puddles and he would brush away the raindrops that would accidentally land upon my nose.

It's better when it snows. You don't understand. The best mix is oakglen, eating cup noodles, sipping hot chocolate, and watching snowflakes gently fall upon the roof of the chapel. I love the snowball fights. I love making snow angels. I love mittens. I love scarves. I could go on.

I love shopping for Christmas trees and bringing the perfect seven feet tree into the house. Then I can adore the smell of the pine and KNOW that it's December. I love decorating the house with bright lights and festive ornaments. I love falling asleep on the sofa from watching the lights of the tree sparkle on and off.

I love Christmas shopping with my mom for my younger cousins' toys. Toys R Us is always bustling with anxious parents and the atmosphere is so enticing. I love the Christmas dinners that my mom prepares because she is the best cook in the world. I love singing Christmas carols and busting out the Christmas karaeoke.

Deck the halls with boughs of holly.

Fa la la la la la la la la...
