"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

- -Thursday, January 22, 2004- -

I finally got my license. That took a freaking long time. I procrastinated from doing driver's ed and thus got my permit in March 2003 instead of January 2003. I could have signed up for an appointment in September 2003, but my parents wanted me to finish night driving. Signed up in November 2003, and failed because of that stupid stupid roundabout block cylinder thing. I was late to the December 2003 appointment thus I couldn't take it. Now it's January 2004 and finally FINALLY. That certainly took long enough. I got the same tester guy--Bob. I think he hates me because I kind of drove a little bit onto the railroad tracks while we were at a stoplight and he got all PMSy on me and started screaming that I could die. Dude, I already realized I was on the tracks and it was like only the TIP of front of the car. When we parked and he evaluated me, he said to me, "I must be crazy for passing you." HAHA, gee thanks, you old farthead. Then he insisted to have a "talk" with my dad. rolls eyes Well my dad told me that he wants to drive with me and not let me drive alone yet for a few months and I can drive alone occasionally. Whatever.. I'm just glad that I have it, that I didn't fail again, and that I don't have to wait any longer until my permit expired.

Must study for chem. :(
