Thank God tryouts are finally over. I have gotten so much sun exposure these past few days and I have a Tshirt tan. So a ton of people got cut and so far 1 returning player got cut. There are still a few more trying out because they're on vacation and they have until the first week of school to try out. Everything is so uncertain that we can't do anything such as order uniforms/sweaters, etc.
So Bita and I (we play doubles together) were 2 points away from a tiebreaker to make it onto varsity. AHH! Oh well it's all gravy. And shut up to those of you who think, "You're an upperclassman, you should be on varsity." Our team is pretty darn good so it's hard to make the team/varsity, what not. Aw yay I like the freshmen/newbies that made it! Laura is so adorable, and Kristina is really funny! Oh dang I think only 5 out of the 35+ new people trying out made it. The new coach decided to only take 30 this year and it's usually around 34. Tomorrow is orientation. For our ID card pictures, some of us were thinking to make stupid silly faces because it doesn't count for anything. HAHA. I wonder how my schedule will turn out. :/ |
