"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

Parents left for Shanghai today

I really miss them already. And I sit here wondering how will I ever survive next year when I'm off at college. I'll probably be deadly home sick.

Shopping with my mom at Santana Row was so fun. I'm glad we have these kinds of moments you know? When we forget that she's my blood guardian who constantly nags at me. and we can just go out as long-time best friends.

You know what's sad? Those "to do items" on my Thanksgiving checklist... I think that I am trying to complete them for the sake of just crossing it off my list. Terrible, indeed. I've done almost all of the "tasks" though! Except for the portfolio, but I guess I have worked on them. If you count finding everything and trashing it around my room working. OKAY OKAY tomorrow I will haul my ass over to Office Max/Michaels and buy portfolio materials. College application deadlines are coming up so quickly! I'm done with all the typing/text things, but it's just the stupid portfolios! I must compile four together and send them off! I feel like ripping my hair out.

Speaking of hair! I finally went to an Asian salon and got myself a haircut. Goodbye 20 in. hair. Hello 15 inches! The lady was only supposed to cut an inch, but I swear those Chinese hairdressers NEVER know when to stop cutting. Well my hair is alright I suppose, but it's not exactly what I had hoped for it to be.

Ever since my grandparents came over to stay with us for awhile, it's been family fest for days. Everyone keeps coming over to visit. And none of my baby cousins like me! Darn shy children. Or maybe it's just me they're afraid of? Impossible.

Break is almost over. Well I guess looking from my checklist, it was a pretty productive week. :D
