...Single Awareness Day! Har har har...
Raymond and I are exchanging PE shirts! Why? Because we're just cool like that. I have grown very attached to my third grade tutoree. I can't bear to miss a Wednesday because I don't want to let him down, and feel alone and abandonned without a tutor. In result, I've been pushing back my optometrist appointment. :P He got me a valentine last week! That totally made my day. He told me not to open it until Valentine's Day, but I sneeked a peek. It just said To: Janet From: Calvin. He was reading the front of the card to me; it was a Spongebob card, and on the front it said, "You Make Me Hopping Happy!" Aw, I love my kid. He asked me whether I was going to get him a Valentine card. I said of course, and right after the tutoring session I went to Longs and bought an entire box of Batman valentines just for one card to give him. Dude, some of the batman valentines are scary! One of them says, "Be my valentine, or else!" Geesh. Even with Pilsbury's Break & Bake, I still managed to burn the chocolate chip cookies. I suck. |
