"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

Very frustrated

It's time for one of those teenage delinquent rants.

Kim and I have been talking about going down to Socal over Spring Break to see our special friends. Today I finally presented the idea to my mother and she automatically said no. I told her, "Do you know I'll be going to college in a few months. How do you expect to let me go off to college and do my own thing?" She gave me some bullshit answer, "Well when you go to college then you will learn slowly." Honestly, my parents need to STOP reading the newspaper.

"Well I read about this and this in the newspaper.. blahblah"

She said that I don't know anything. She told me that I don't do anything at home, but just tread around. I don't know how to react to "situations." She called me irresponsible. Please tell me how am I irresponsible? She said that my room is not clean, which reflects that I can't take care of myself. Obviously she doesn't trust me. She thinks that I'll go off and get drunk, and do something stupid. She doesn't know me at all. Or she thinks some crazy rapist will come looking for me.

I seriously just want to go to University of Michigan and get away from my parents, or any other East coast schools that I'll get into. Then I can do whatever I want, and they can't stooooooop me. Okay I'm sounding a tad immature, but really, I'M GOING TO COLLEGE SOON. JUST LET GO. They need to STOP worrying about whether I can take care of myself or not. I need the freaking experience because I'll be long gone in September.

You know what's weird? One of the main reasons I don't want to go to school away from home is because of my dog. She's old and I want to spend as much time with her as I can.

Plus, I'm angry because I miss Raymond and I want to see him. Last time I saw him was in December. BOOOOOoooo. If we go to the same college, that would be so awesome.
