"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

It feels like I can finally rest my head on something real

Yesterday was truly eventful! Stephanie made a promise to herself last week that she would get her ears pierced if she got into Stanford. Haha, what a sucker!! We dragged her to the mall and sat her down in Claire's. She got SO nervous. Anyway, she eventually (after much coaxing) got them done, and they look very pretty! :)

Afterwards I drove Cheryl, Val, and Steph to Cupertino to eat dinner. We ate at Miyake's and we had the funniest waiter ever. Well, uh, he didn't try to be funny, but Cheryl and I couldn't stop laughing at him (with him, hehe). I even had to bite my lip to contain the giggles. When we were done with dinner, we all went to my Church. We had a refreshing talk with Uncle Joseph and Auntie Corina about college after the meeting.

So basically to end the night, we rented to movies and watched them. I fell asleep quickly, but the other three girls chatted the night away.

Stephanie got me grape gum at Taiwan (I requested it!), so I'm very happy. :)

I really should study for Music Theory and Calculus today (two tests on Tuesday!), but college acceptances really give me no motivation at all. :/
