"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

Unforgettable--Senior Ball

The day of Senior Ball was a bit surreal because I had a ton of other stuff to do as well. The day before I went to Great America for Physics Day and then Jeff's house for dinner. Physics Day was wonderful; we rode more than twice the amount of rides compared to last year (good ones too).

Jeff's house was interesting; I attempted to study for my Chinese final, but that wasn't quite succesful. We watched the Phoenix vs. Dallas game for the NBA playoffs. There was a girl there who was extremely into the game because she had 20 bucks on the line for Phoenix. Luckily, they won. Nice comeback. The food was all vegetarian, and it was not bad at all. I have more appreciation for the choice of becoming a vegetarian now. However, meat <3. I was extremeley delirious and hyper because I was really tired. Poor Jeff had to see me like that.

The next morning I had my Chinese final and oral presentation, which I winged both. Good job to me! Afterwards I went to my hair appointment. The lady did my hair like nothing compared to the picture I showed her. I was pretty upset. I took it all down when I got home, and so it was just left in curls. What a waste of money!!! Alex picked me up and we went to school to take pictures. We spent a great deal of time in the cafeteria taking pictures (studio and digital). Everyone looked gorgeous! :)

Alex drove us to Tamie's house and we just chilled there for a while. Tamie's house is always bad luck for me. Her dogs (now dog) pee on her hardwood floor because of the medication that they take. I ALWAYS step in the pee. One time, I stepped in three different puddles within one stay. Tamie assured me that her dog doesn't pee anymore, or if any, just once a day. Guess what? I STEPPED IN THAT ONE PUDDLE!! Ahhh what is wrong with me? Anyway we just stayed at her house, watched TV, and took pictures. Then it was off to prom we went.

It took us a while to get there. There was pretty bad traffic, and we also saw a limo pulled over on the freeway! Sucks. Curtis almost "keeled" Wagner and Tamie while quickly changing lanes. HAhaha. Yeah so we finally found parking at a free meter.

Glas Kat is awesome. It was so nice, and I actually got to eat food! Poor Alex couldn't eat that much because he just got his braces tightened that afternoon. The dance floor was so small and PACKED. It was so difficult to move and I was sweating so much. HAHA I won two bucks from Kaitlin because I poked some random guy's butt. Nice. Some of the music was kinda wack. The DJ would play songs that was inbetween fast song and slow song. Alex and I would contemplace for about a minute into the song wondering what we were supposed to do because of the questionability of the song beat. Well besides that, it was very fun. We danced ballroom/old school style for the last song! That's how we do.

When prom was over, we drove to the beach. Yeah, that took us a while. Actually Curtis, Cathy, Alex, and I were the first to arrive. However, Becca and Eric said that we were in the wrong spot and told us to drive further. Then they figured out that we were right and they were wrong. Aiya. Well we went to the beach, which was extremely pretty, Alex and Curtis made the bon fire (Eagle scout skills!), and we toasted marshmallows and just hung out. I think we stayed there until 4 am. Alex and I left with Jess and Max to go to Brenden's house. We got lost so by the time we got there it was around 5:30 am. Everyone was so dead at Brenden's house. Alex and I zonked out and fell asleep on the floor. I got home around 7 am. I smelled and felt gross so I took a shower, collapsed on my bed, and fell asleep naked. HAHAHA. I woke up at 1 pm. My clothes smell like smoke from the bonfire. I hope my parents don't get the wrong idea.

SO YEAH. Fun times. Thanks palsies and Alex for a cool prom!!! :)
