So instead of going to Bakersfield, I decided to still go have some fun. Kathy and I went to this Greek fast food place called Yiasoo (?) and we both had gyros. For the rest of the day our breaths spelled like nasty gyros, but the meal was good. We went to Santana Row and our first stop was to Urban Outfitters. We went to the second level to the the room/apartment section. We got really into the variety of cool interesting books that they had. We just grabbed a bunch and read for the rest of the afternoon on the display couches. Yes, Kathy the book worm's dream come true. She originally wanted to go the library or Barnes and Noble to hang out. Ehh.. hahah.
This was good though. Lots of light, comfortable seating, and great books! People have been asking me what I want for my birthday... well this is a good idea! I want cool books from Urban Outfitters! I like The Book that Will Change Your Life, Would You Rather...?, 101 Things to do Before You Die, Everyone Poops, and You Just Want Him to Want You... (?). We were in there for about 2 hours. We decided we weren't interested in the other classy only-come-in-if-you're-loaded stores at Santana Row so we left after we got bored with Urban. The Walnut and Fruit Salad was starting to appeal to us so we decided to drop by the nearest McDonalds to give it a try. It was not bad, but definitely not worth the money. Thank goodness to the two $1 off coupons I ripped out from this month's issue of Seventeen. Randoms: My very last high school report card My fall semester Cal schedule (if all goes well) Okay, I should start packing. New Zealand and Australia on Wednesday! |
