The previous day I had gone to Mountain View HS's graduation with Kim and Trevor. We went for are good pal Andrew Leung (aka giraffe). It finally hit me that everything was ending while I watched the graduation. At the end of the ceremony they all switched their tassel to the other side, and then they gathered in a circle and threw their hats up into the air all at once. Man. Anyway, Trevor baked Andrew cookies (one with walnuts attached with a WARNING label). Kim and I got Andrew huge balloons--one unicorn and one that says, "It's a girl!" It also came with 10 red balloons that say "Safeway Select." The lady that blew them up for us asked us if the balloons were too ghetto. Yes, those were her exact words... haha! Mmm.. some funny moments. Andrew went to his car to go change for grad night. We went with him and his family came too. So Andrew rips off his pants and I screamed and turned around. Everyone was laughing like it was no big deal! Then Andrew's mom says, "Oh it's becaust Janet is the one from Church... so she is more conservative." Oh boy! HAHA.
SO ABOUT THE LAST DAY. No, I did not roll down the hill. I was wearing a dress, so poo. I did some major yearbook signing, which really cramped up my hand. So when school was finally over, everyone was cheering and screaming outside (especially the seniors). I was feeling a little bummed out because I mean... this is such a big change and transition. I saw Emily and we hugged. Oh man... that's when the water works started. Everything just hit me all at once and I kept thinking about how I may never see her and other people again and all that good crap. I'm seriously going to miss everyone so much. Why can't everyone just go to Berkeley? Hahah. So it took us a while to get ourselves checked out because of the humongous line, and yes again, I started crying. I am one emotional person. I never knew that I would get so worked up about this. I wonder how many tears I will shed at graduation. We went to Elephant Bar for lunch (last day of school tradition) and then I came home and took a 3 hour nap. Girls are coming over tonight with old yearbooks, cards, and letters. Time for some reminiscing. :) Thanks High School... you were so fun and you let me make some of the best friends in the world. Graduation is tomorrow. I'm not ready to leave all of this yet. |
