"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

Back from down under, mates!

I'M FINALLY BACK! Don't get me wrong, Australia was so fun, but I hella miss my home, my bed, my friends, cable tv, my dogs, and so forth.

Kangaroos are so freaking cute. They're really friendly too (not sure why Tiff is traumatized by them) and Australians just let them roam around. Here's an analogy... Deer:USA as Kangaroos:Australia. We went to a field where there were so many kangaroos just lying and hopping around. It was so fun and their fur is so soft. They also taste like pork. :X

Another highlight of the trip was when we visited the Sydney Opera House. Wow, yes future architect's dream, right? For some reason I love the architecture of concert halls. For those of you who know, I'm in love with the Walt Disney Concert Hall. I was thinking about this and I hope they offer some kind of class mainly where you can learn about architecture acoustics. Maybe when I become an architect I can do mainly concert halls, and such. It's not just the outside of the building, but the inside is also so amazing. Concert halls are so beautiful and they're even built that way to help the sound played be even more grand. We watched a Scottish dance and music show in the evening, but I fell asleep because I was so tired. However, the first 15 minutes was really good. They barely used any microphones so just by that you know how well the concert hall was built and crafted.

When we were going back to the hotel by taxi we got lost because apparently there are about 4 of the same hotel name within a 20 mile radius of the opera house. What a waste of money for taxis.

So yeah HAHHAA I got a 2 on my AP Calc test. I did better on the Physics test, though. I can't believe it. I even got an A in Calculus and a C in Physics. Oh man, that's what you get for not studying. Ah well. :) Now I have to move and change things around even more for my college schedule.

I'm so messed up from jet lag. Yesterday I was really tired in the afternoon, but I ended up staying up until 2 am talking to Cheryl on the phone. Oh right and I talked to Brian online and thought he was someone else for like half the conversation. AHAHaha. Oh dear, silly me.

Today I went out to lunch with Cheryl, Valerie, and Valerie's brother (she had to baby sit him). Cheryl shared some pretty amazing stuff about a Church conference she went to a couple weeks ago. God is such a miracle worker. It really reminded me to never underestimate Him and His glory.
