"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

I'm in the hotel at New Zealand right now. Tomorrow we're boarding our flight to Australia. New Zealand was fun though. There's lots.. and lots... of vegetation. Do you know that you need a license to cut a tree? Otherwise you go to jail. I think baby lambs have captured my heart because they are the most adorable things in the world. We saw a few places that they filmed Lord of the Rings and one of the places was actually renamed "Hobbitin." I took many pictures just for Stephanie.

Later on we're going to eat kangaroo meat. Yum, huh? I don't know I really don't have much else to say. I'm kinda bummed out because I just got an email from Debra saying that she and Cheryl can't go to LA because their parents think it'll be unsafe. Mmm and the whole day I was thinking about going to LA. Oh, poo. I'm going to see if there's another way... HAHA. Maybe, maybe not!

I had the weirdest dream last night with Raymond in it and it involved him getting really drunk because a pack of gang bangers spiked his drink. He found it really funny though. I think the dream came from me not turning on the heater during the night. I woke up a couple times from the dream because I was freezing my butt off. Yes, it is really COLD here. The tour guide (Fred) said that it's going to be even colder in Australia.

Which reminds me.... Yesterday during dinner I couldn't stop feeling bad for our tour guide Fred. Whenever we have our dinner (by the way, we've eaten mostly all of our dinners at CHINESE restaurants. Dude, hello, I want to eat some authentic NZ food..), Fred eats at a separate table alone. He looks like he's in his late fifties, and he must always be away from his family (he's been at this job for more than 30 years), and he has to eat alone!? I was so tempted to ask him to join our table, but yeah unfortunately our table was full. Poor Fred! Wow that totally bothered me for the rest of the evening. Sigh.

Alright mate (that's how I'll be talking for the next few days), until next time...
