On Thursday night the girls and I traveled to downtown Saratoga for some fondue! We were staring at the menu for the longest time because we couldn't figure out what to do or how everything worked. Good thing the cute waiter came to our rescue. We got the "fondue feast," which was delicious. The meal was a bit pricy, but I thought that new experiences and rare girl-outings were worth it. We wanted something to do afterwards since we didn't really have a curfew (Stephanie's momma is in Taiwan). Stephanie and I started calling our Saratoga friends asking if they had any interesting suggestions of what to do. Alas, they all replied that Saratoga was boring as hell.
So the rest of the night consisted of going to Brian's house because I needed to pick up something. I got a little lost and Cupertino is in need of more street lights. There was one point while I was driving that I started spazzing because I was trying to concentrate as of where to drive, and Valerie, Cheryl, and Stephanie were all on the phone. Three different conversations going on at the same time, and me pleading for help is not a good combination (example-"Stop.. and go!"). Anyway when we got there it was weird. Plus, we were all in dresses, which made it even more weird. Basically we just hung around Brian's driveway while he and his friends played mahjong. Things got less awkward when Steph O. showed up though. Yeah, then we decided to leave after we got bored. We drove around Cupertino for a little while and then went back to Stephanie's house. Everyone was pretty tired so we slept pretty early. Well, Valerie and Stephanie did, but Cheryl and I talked until 3-ish and then we called it a night. Our main course platter, which consisted of new tastes like BUFFALO and SAVAGE DUCK. Yes, it was quite savage. The four of us after our yummy dinner. And here's some other pictures not from that night: Rajeev and Manik being silly at Golfland. They're hiding behind the loop-the-loop course that barely any of us could make. Debra and Cheryl straw-fighting at Jamba Juice. I found out my building assignment yesterday. I will be living in Unit 2 Cunningham with the lovely Debra Yu. I can't believe I'm leaving for college in 2 weeks. |
