I seriously think my room is the hottest room in the house. I leave the door closed all the time and I have those huge balcony windows. The sun shines down on the front of the house and thus bakes me every day. Whenever I step outside of my room, it's so much cooler. I guess I have to sacrifice something since I get the bathroom.
I remember the first time we came to this house to look at just for fun. I ran to this room and claimed it to be mine even though we had no intentions of buying it. Afterwards I consistently bugged my parents about considering buying it and moving in. Pretty soon we all fell in love with the house. Wow it took us a LONG time to actually buy it and move in. There were a LOT of complications and doubts. We even came to a point where we were going to buy another house a few blocks down, and we'd stare off into the distance at this house and all sulk in sadness. This was when another client was going to buy the house, and we were second in line. I forgot what exactly happened, but the client wasn't financially stable or something so it was back on us. One time the realtor let us take a tour of the house, and I sneakily left the door to the back porch unlocked. Many times afterwards we'd just sneak in and hang out at the house. HAHA... my family is funny. :) When we were actually given keys to the house and had not yet moved in, we would invite family over to take a look-see. People would even use the restrooms when they had to go. Hey, nature calls! We practically already lived in the house months before we moved in. I'm glad we did move though, but sometimes I still think about my old house. When I'm in the neighborhood, I drive by it just to see if it's doing okay. I had many memories with that house, but it was time to let go! Good thing it's on rent. Okay I did not mean to talk about all that house-history, just the room! I have been watching a lot of "America's Next Top Model" since they've been playing rerun marathons on VH1. I like, I like! I love sleeping headaches away with afternoon naps. I don't really like online journals that are written for the sake of entertaining others and thus the posts lack any type of meaningful content. For example posts that say, " Bye I'm going to blahblah! See you in 71242 days!" and that's it! Is your online journal just to tell people when you're here and when you're gone?? Or posts that just say, "HI! How are youuu?? :)" or or or or some crap that's supposedly meaningful and they make one post that soley says, " Never judge a book by its cover." All randomly "decorated." AND that is why commentable journals suck because then when you post you're just interested in feedback from your readers. And if not, I guess you're just kinda weird. Anyway! Today my mom randomly called me from her office and asked if I wanted to go to a fair in Sacramento that I used to attend when I was in my toddler-age this weekend. She was getting excited talking about how we can get our faces painted, visit the petting zoo, eat cotton candy, and watch the fireworks during night time. I told her I'd go, but I was so confused when I answered because it was the most unexpected call you'd get right when you wake up. I guess she's starting to feel a little nostalgic because her first child is going off to college. Aw what a sweetie. :) |
