"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

We live on front porches and swing life away.

After much sweating, moving, packing, and unpacking, I AM DONE! It took so much effort because I kept moving things into boxes and then out of boxes and finally into bags. I am quite proud, but I am getting even more tired by just the thought of bringing all of this up seven floors. Oh gosh and those darn long eleveator lines will be a pain.

3 suitcases, 3 bags, 3 boxes (lamp, printer, microwave), bedding, huge picture frame

I watched Red Eye with my brother today and I thought it was REALLY good. I highly recommend it.

I just found out that someone I used to know a while ago passed away from a hit-and-run motorcycle accident. If I've told any of you, he's the famous "Great America" guy. This comes as such a shock and I'm so sad. He was a really sweet and funny guy, and at one point in time we were pretty close friends.

Rest in peace, Vinh Tran.

Excerpt from July 12, 2002:
