"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

Welcome Week is coming to a sad end

After one week I have been having a blast! I have met so many people and have had so much fun. People from highschool just appear everywhere--whether they attend Cal or not. There are also a lot of events that give out free food and stationary. :)

My eating schedule isn't all that healthy, though. I've skipped a lot of meals because I didn't find the time to go to the dining common and eat.

A lot of us have been checking out some Church fellowships. It's so hard to choose! All of them are good in their own ways. I'm anticipating the "Jesus in Berkeley" event on Sunday night just to see what all my options are. Gosh, this is going to be such a hard decision.

Now I'm in my dorm room all alone because Debra went home for the weekend. Our room is in the corner, which isn't that great because we're kinda secluded from everyone else. Oh well, I'm just glad our floor has a ton of cool people in it.

This is going to be a fun year. I can't wait to get started. I'm even a bit excited for classes, but I just don't want to study! I'm going home this Sunday for a couple hours just to say hello to my dear family and to pick up a few things. Alright well two more days and we're getting started.
