Krayola has been such a fun and fulfilling experience for me. It's a bit of a hassle to get there, but everytime I enter the elementary school, I realize that the trip is definitely worth it. I know favoritism isn't too healthy, but there are two girls that stand out to me in the class. Their names are Chansis and Diamond, and they are so attention-needy! Chansis refers to me as "Janet Jackson" and Diamond always positively comments on my hair and clothes. Whenever I refer to them by name, they are excited and surprised that I remember.

Anyways, some other "interesting" things have happened such as filing into a line for a surprise fire drill. I felt so old and tall amongst all the kids--was I once really that tiny!? One boy asked me how old I was and after I told him I was eighteen, he told me that he was nine. I replied, "Wow. I am twice your age!" Amazing how time flies. I remember fire drills at Gomes and how Mr. Bold would blow on his whistle to signal each class to head back inside after we proved to him how straight and quiet our individual class lines were.

Also, the teacher made this one boy Darrell start crying (well he was trying his best to keep it in) because she scolded him for not doing the art project correctly after he happily skipped over to her to show her what he had done. I asked him if he was okay, and reassured him that it was fine, and to not be discouraged. Two minutes later he was smiling and continuing to work on his project. :)

There's a scavenger hunt going on for our dorm building. One of the items we need is the picture of the most beautiful tree on campus. So nowadays when I'm just walking from class to class, I start to pick out which tree our team can use. Honestly, it is such a hard decision. UC Berkeley is just filled with so many pretty trees that I really can't decide. However, one of my favorites is between the Music Library and 4.0 Hill. The main reason is because all the leaves are orange, red, yellow, and green. In the sunlight, it looks absolutely breathtaking because the edges of all the leaves seem to be illuminated. I always get frustrated because I realize that I'm not carrying my camera to take pictures.

My business module test was really hard. HOWEVER! My GSI loved my group's ED1 project-- the one worth 15% of our grade and the one we spent 7 hours straight working on (just the group portion!). Yes, I'm very proud of my group and our finished result. Good work, team!

Evangelism scares me. Not people evangelizing to me, but me evangelizing to others. I really know it shouldn't; we're supposed to be joyous to tell others about Jesus. Hopefully I'll change how I feel with much practice.
