"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

I hope you find what you're looking for.

Today in Philosophy, as usual, I became bored and my eyes started to wander. I noticed that the empty desk in front of me had a phrase carved in the center of the desk.

THE TRUTH
IS
OUT THERE

Reading that was just so convicting because I suddenly had the heart to want to know who wrote that and tell him/her, "LET ME TELL YOU THE TRUTH!" The search is over--the truth lies in the Word. There's no more need to feel dumbfounded and lost in the world. TRUST in Scripture!

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened."
-Matthew 7:7-8

Pray that God gives all men and women a seeking heart for His truth.

This morning my dad gave me the most random phone call. He called me at 8:30 a.m. to tell me that if anyone I know who's not going home for Thanksgiving to invite them over for Thanksgiving dinner. Yeah! OKAY! So if any of you want to come over for my mom's food (SHE MAKES THE BEST HOLIDAY FOOD!) then tell me. Erm, preferably girls though because I don't want to give my family and relatives the wrong impression. My mom has been constantly asking me if I have a boyfriend yet and that when I do to bring him home for "inspection."

So.. Thanksgiving is girls only please! :)
