"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

Money truly is the root of all evil.

I think Sally will know why I'm posting this tonight. ;P

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
-Hebrews 13:5

Wow. So true. Gosh, the Word is just so powerful, huh?

Why trust in money? Riches will let you down, but God never will. The love of money will not bring you content and happiness; it is not something to throw away dignity for.

What is it really that the youth of this world strive for nowadays? It's to slave and worry over studying to do well in school, and then to get a successful career. Why? To have money. Wow, I could really care less about money right now. I'm not saying that I don't need it because it does buy us food, clothes, and such. However, God is truly the ultimate provider.

I want to live a life not relying on money, but on God.

Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy
-1 Timothy 6:17

Can I get an Amen?

Gosh, I always pass by the numerous flower stores in Berkeley and longingly gaze at all the pretty lilies, gerber daisies, orchids, and roses. I want to decorate my room with purple and pink roses! Yeah... okay goodnight. :)
