Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
Yeah, you guessed it. This Thanksgiving I want to emphasizse that I am thankful for GOD. I'm so thankful that our God is just, compassionate, and loving. I am thankful that God sent Jesus Christ to die for us. I am thankful that God has answered my prayers. I am thankful that He has blessed me in so many ways. So aside from that, I'm thankful for the things I'm thankful for every year... family, friends, church, etc. Except this year, I'd like to add something different. I am so thankful for Eastbay Baptist Church of Berkeley. You don't know how awesome I think all of you saints are and how much I've learned and matured through fellowship and the sermons. God has blessed me with the freshmen class (you guys are the best), the older brothers and sisters who genuinely take care of and serve us, and Pastor John with his sound doctrine Bible-based teachings. AH! You freshmen EBCB girls... (Sally, Lena, Bethany, Leona, Junia, Jenny, Cassandra, Grace, Irene... and many more) I love you all so much! I'm so happy that I have you guys to keep me accountable, make me live and breathe God every single day, and are there for spiritual encouragement. Seriously, I've never had this sort of spiritual environment and I'm just so thankful that God answered my prayers of finding a good church in college. I remember that night when Lena, Sally, Bethany, and I stayed up all night talking the first month into college. We were estatic about finding Eastbay and how we were going to be together for the next four years of college. Dude, I am stoked for what God has in plan for us. Every day is such a gift from God. For all of you seniors in high school, seriously pray for your spiritual life next year. Pray for your church life and where God wants you to go for college. |
