It's really hard to believe that today is the last day of the year. 2005 went by too quickly! Originally I was going to fill out that survey evaluating the year that I've been doing for the past 3 years, but as I was looking over the questions I really didn't know how I would answer some. Some of the questions are quite lame. So.. I'm breaking the end-of-the-year survey tradition. Boohoo.

Hm. This year started out with LAZINESS. Senior year=total slack off. The school year ended well besides barely making it in AP Physics. Actually, I did alright, but I was worrying a lot about that class. Senior year was definitely good, though. We had lots of fun and ended our high school careers well. :)

Summer was super fun going to Australia and New Zealand with my family. KANGAROOS and BABY LAMBS... :) AND THE SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE! :) :)

COLLEGE. Man. I can't believe it's already been one full semester. I still remember the very day that I found out about my college acceptance and then bouncing up and down because of it. That was a GOOD day. Mm.. we ate at a buffet at Circus Circus for dinner afterwards. HAHA Okay moving on... College has definitely been a great and new experience. There's so much freedom, and yet still so much gracious spiritual accountability. Yes you've heard it many times before.. I'm thankful God brought me to Eastbay. I met lots of awesome people in college and the school itself is okay too (hah).

Gradually, I learned this year, or more like realized that so much of this world is all vanity. I've set things aside as so much less important than the one most important thing of all--Christ. I just can't believe how much time, energy, and emotion I've spent on other things when I could have been channeling all of that to serving and loving the Lord.

Anyway, 2005 has probably been one of the best years in my life (coming close at second to 1987). Who do I have to thank for it? Well, duh, God of course. May He bring many more good (and some bad) years to come. It's going to be one heck of a life.
