On Thursday, Valerie, Stephanie, and Cheryl came to sleepover at my house. It was really great with just the four of us. We didn't watch ANY television; the night consisted of sipping coffee, eating Christmas cookies, and reminiscing the hours away.
I've known these girls for FOREVER--years of jam-packed memories. We were all really weird (well, I guess we still are)... and MEAN. Stephanie and I have had one heck of a history. In fifth grade we were so evil towards each other. Thank God that somehow we reconciled and are the friends we are today. Other than reminiscing, we also talked about marriage. Oh gosh!! It's so crazy that it won't be long until we're all married and with kids. I hope we all find our perfect men someday in the future. :) Well, at least my girls definitely deserve one. Someday my prince (head) will come. Sorry, biblical humor. HAHA. The next morning we went to Kaitlin to see her off. :( We then headed over to Mission San Jose HS to do some teacher visiting. We did pretty well! We visited Epler, Geschke, Chaney-Aiello, Camacho, Fry, Feng, and O'Neill. It was so great to see them. We had good talks with all of them and they were really glad to see us again. They didn't seem like teachers who graded our tests and people we got frustrated over during the school year, but long-term friends. We talked with O'Neill for over an HOUR. We talked about school, parenting, dogs, etc. She seemed like a great aunt or a past nanny. HAHA. She's retiring in two years! She deserves it though, she's been teaching for thirty! AH. So glad I had the opportunity to be in her class. After not eating breakfast and having a whole morning of visiting, we headed over to SWEET TOMATOES. Gosh, if there was a Sweet Tomatoes salad bar at Berkeley, I'd eat salad all day every day. Anyway, basically, we got stuffed and happy. As a spontaneous idea, we decided to go take PHOTO MAGIC PICTURES!! HAHAHAA. We wanted it to be really satirical with a Chinese characters background and us acting all weird. We went over to Photo Magic and realized that we live in America and nothing is cheap. So we went to Excel instead and took pictures there. They didn't turn out as silly as we wanted in the beginning, but we just got 4x6s so we could frame them and put them in our dorm rooms. THAT WAS OUR DAY. I slept at 9:30 p.m. because I was so tired. |
