"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

I love the NT!

I am seventeen chapters from completing the New Testament. Originally, I was going to move on to the Old Testament, but I think I'm going to start over and reread the New Testament. I will try to incorporate some OT into my reading, though. I want to do what Sally does--read a Psalm in the beginning of QT. Which reminds me! I got my first NAS Bible in the mail last Friday. I think that's also part of the reason I want to read the NT again, but in a more indepth manner--highlighting and making notes in the margins of my new clean Bible.

So a while ago I applied for an internship over the summer having to do with my major, but I received a rather unexpected email this afternoon. I got offered an interview to work for a company in SF relating to engineering, architecture, and landscape architecture. The pay is pretty high and requires 15-20 hours a week, but for an entire year! AH! I probably won't be able to do it because it'll be way too time consuming, but the pay is very very tempting. The main reason I want to get a job is so I can treat freshmen out to eat next year. :) Hmph. I need a summer job. Maybe I can tutor kiddies.

Oooh I'm watching V for Vendetta tomorrow night! I finished ALL my physics homework already just so I could have the rest of the week free. I spent the entire day yesterday at Ellice's apartment doing physics and it was fun, yet restless times! Ellice cooked Zenas and me this Korean rice-cake soup and then we worked the night away. I got to witness Jamie being a cute weirdo and Zenas being a uh... regular weirdo. HAHA!

Well, I need to read Big Breasts and Wide Hips for my Asian Studies class and start studying for my nutrisci midterm.
