"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

A loud morning

A funny conversation between my mother and I just occurred. This afternoon, we're going to my parents' friends' daughter's wedding so we were figuring out what to wear.

Me: "Oh shoot, I forgot about what shoes I should wear."
Mom: "You always do this. Don't you have highheels?"
Me: "Um... I guess so, but they're all too fancy and uncomfortable. OOo!! Can I wear these sandals?"
Mom: "You'll look like a farmer!!! You'll look like a Hebrew! What about these?" (points to another pair of sandals)
Me: "Those don't match my dress."
Mom: "But you'll look so barbaric and unladylike."
Me: "No I won't!!! And who cares? No one's going to be staring at my feet. Plus, my dress goes up to my ankles!"
Mom: "THE AVAILABLE BOYS WILL BE LOOKING!!!"
Me: "OHHHH my!!! I'm not going to a wedding to look for a husband!!!"
Mom: "You need to look pretty. You need to look to impress."
Me: "WHO CARES!?!??!! I DON'T CARE ABOUT BOYS!!!"
Mom: "Don't shout that so loud..."
Me: "WHO CARES!!!"
Mom: (Sighs) "You'll never get a boyfriend."

AHAHahahahahaaa!!!
