Visiting Berkeley for the weekend was pretty fun. We went to Great America on Saturday and I was very surprised that it wasn't very crowded. We went on all the major rides! Our longest wait was probably twenty five minutes. Good, huh?



Spending the night at my apartment was a little creepy. I can't wait to have three more girls with me. Let the silence be filled!

I just came back from Ohlone and my dad told me that he took Honey to the hospital. For the past few days she's been really sleepy because my mom accidentally gave her medicine twice a day when it was supposed to be only twice a week. Today she pooped on my bed (gross, I know) and later she was drooling and couldn't get up. My dad told me that the vet says that she should be okay. Her blood sugar level is low so they're pumping her with... something. Not sure what. I'm so... worried. Even though she should be okay, but a mother can't help, but worry.

[update: 7:50 p.m.]
Three hours later my dad calls the vet to check up on Honey and they said that she's not improving and told us to come. When I saw her, she was just laying there with an IV stuck in her leg. She was trembling and spazzing. It was the most heartbreaking sight. Apparently she was unconscious, but could still react to things such as scratching (she would start kicking her leg). Her eyes were closed and her mouth kept salivating. The vet said it didn't look good and that she might not recover. As I was petting and scratching her, I started to cry. The rest of the time I was there I just kept crying and then stopping. Seeing her again and then crying all over again. I seriously thought there was no more hope. Crying and praying. Finally the vet said that we could try giving her a shot of cortizone. He did it and she started shaking; afterwards she started to wake up. Her eyes began to open and she started to lick her nose. They gave her some more sugar (since her blood sugar is low) and wrapped her in a blanket and gave her to us. The vet said to wait overnight to see if she gets better. For the past two hours I've been by her side holding her paw and scratching her belly. The entire time she just lay there sleeping--occasionally opening her eyes and licking her lips. Just now, she's completely awake, but still very weak. She keeps jerking her head backwards and I think it's because she's having a little trouble breathing. She's slowly getting better, but I don't know how well she'll recover. I just hope she doesn't have permanent brain damage. If she starts eating and drinking, then that's a sure sign that she's a lot better. Only time will tell...

About an hour ago, Honey went into a seizure... Tomorrow morning we have to put her to sleep. I'm a mess.......
