"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

The early bird gets the worm.

It's been a rough night. I came back to Berkeley at 8:30 p.m. (was greeted very warmly by my apt-mates) and finally went to sleep at 10:30 p.m. (those hooligans kept me up). I think in total I woke up around 5 times during the night. It got to the point where I was basically just staring up at the ceiling and checking the time every 10 minutes. So finally I decided to get up, take a pee, and do something. I'm still used to European time.

Before I make a post about my 12-day Europe trip, I will mention something that still amuses me. To get home, my family took a flight from Rome to NY and then from NY to SF. When we boarded the plane from NY to SF, I heard a very familiar voice ahead of me. I looked in front of me, and alas, three rows ahead of me I spot a woman with a nose ring and tattoos on her arm. It was Coral Smith from MTV Real World and all those Road Rules shows. I just sat there in awe. I've never encountered someone "famous" before (well, besides concerts and such)!

During the six hour light, I kept pondering if I should approach her. I also took a few papparazzi pictures of her. HAHAHA. Anyway, she's pretty mean on her reality shows so I was pretty intimidated. I told Jennifer (a girl I met on the Europe tour) who was a few rows in front of me and she got pretty excited too. Haha we're such losers. Anyway we landed and at baggage claim, I built up the courage to ask Coral for a picture with her. Woooo!

Anyway, I should probably do something more productive now. Maybe I'll see some of you in school... which begins in less than three hours. Boo...
