I know I shouldn't favor, but there is one kid that I teach that is seriously such a cutie. According to another one of my students, he has a crush on me. Psh, I wish!!! He's going to second grade, but he is so tiny compared to everyone else. His younger brother is also really cute. Oh my goodness I just want to take him home and play with him all day. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS CHILD!!! :)
In celebration of my wisdom teeth gone and soft foods, today in science lab (my very last time teaching this class) I had my students make plastic-bag ice cream! It was fun, messy, and noisy. At the end, one of my questions was, "What's the difference between a solid and a liquid? Use the word 'shape.'" The answer I was looking for was, "A liquid takes the shape of its container, while a solid has its own form and shape." This is what Andrew (the cutie) wrote: "The difference between a solid and a liquid is if we put liquid in a cup it would take the cups shape..." Hm, so far so good!! What a smart kid. Then I continued to read the rest. "...and if you put a house on a cup it would break." HAHAHAHA. I was smiling and laughing out loud even though I can't really because my cheeks are swollen. The last bit was so random... Anyway, all I've been eating is KFC mashed potatoes and gravy. Good stuff. My parents are freaking out about going to Europe next week because of the terrorists who were arrested today in London. My mom actually told me, "Janet, pray ok? God loves you the best in this family." Major -__-. |
