"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

Memories on Ondina

My brother and I went to our old house in Fremont today; it's currently empty because the previous home owner moved out and the new homeowners will be moving in at the end of this month. It brought back so many memories. The house also seems so tiny from what I remembered--were WE really that short to think everything was so huge??? My brother and I walked around every inch of the house and every few moments we would start our sentences with, "Remember when..." My favorite was when we were upstairs looking down below at the bottom floor and remembered how we would attach our stuffed animals to a string of rubberbands and let them bungee jump from the second to first floor. We had so much fun together when we were kids; I'm glad I grew up with a sibling. :)
