I just drew for 7 hours and I'm pooped. Two of those hours were spent drawing at Faculty Glade because we're learning how to draw trees. However, I was cold, bugs were flying all over the place, and the grass was itching my legs. I snapped a digital photo and drew the rest of it on the living room couch. Heehee I'm a cheater.
I'm really anticipating going home. I'm not sure when the next time will be, but I haven't seen my parents in such a long time. I can't believe that I've only been home twice this semester. Last year I went home at least every other weekend. I'm becoming Miss Independent. Now I need to learn how to cook. HAHA. Oh, I love meal points. God reveals so much to me every day. That's pretty much what sustains me throughout the day along with His word and prayer. There was a group that was evangelizing between Dwinelle and Wheeler and at first there were SO many people. I would say around fifty? That's what drew me to listen... the crowd. They proposed the question, "What do we fear the most?" It was according to TIME magazine and it was snakes, spiders, dentist, and the number one fear... death. By that point I think people realized where this guy was heading so the crowd started dwindling. When the guy started sharing the Gospel, a ton of people left and maybe around ten people stuck around to listen. I was so encouraged by their boldness, but I was also so hurt by the people who left. There was a even a guy who passed by and shouted, "Don't listen to them! THEY'RE ALL LIES!" On one hand I felt so sorry for him, but on the other hand I felt glad because justice will be served. Because when Jesus comes back, EVERY knee will bow and EVERY mouth will confess that He is Lord. Isn't that amazing? I like planning my schedule for next semester. It's going to be tough and there will probably be future whiny posts, but I love being weak. I realize so many things about myself and realize that God is so awesome. While I was drawing today I listened to a Rick Holland Relationship Series sermon. Basically, I love that God made me a woman. I love being the weaker vessel. Rick Holland said it as weak=fragile=precious. He put it into better words, but being repetitive... GOD IS GOOD. GOD IS SOOO GOOD! |
