"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

No more hatorade!!!

Being home is surreal. I honestly don't want to be home. I know that sounds horrible, but I really didn't want to leave Berkeley today because I have so much fun there. Although, it's still good to be welcomed and babied by my parents and to always find a pint of Rum Raisin ice cream in the freezer.

After my final on Wednesdsay, I went to study hall to catch up on some extra reading and also to get some good free warm food. They fed us like CRAZY that day. First there was curry over rice, then kimchi fried rice, then cheese quesadillas, then bagel bites, and lastly dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets. I'm not sure if they continued the feeding fest because I left early to play Clue and Scrabble at my apartment. :)

Today I spent the day helping Channing House girls move to Emeryville. :( Then I stuffed my face at Crossroads with sweet potato fries and scallop potatoes. As me, Sam, and Hannah are walking back, Hannah claims that I will for sure get married and may be the first sophomore sister to. Uh...?! That totally defies Jacob's intuition!

I can't believe I'm actually leaving for a retreat tomorrow. Nothing is CLICKING! ED11A and Chinese10AX made me brain-dead. I'm not even sure who's going this year. One thing I know, though, I'm going to leave Mr. Lee notes all over the place. Muahahahaaaa! How cool are we?

What is all this talk about the sophomore girls being crazy? I do acknowledge that when there are more than two of us congregated together we are nonstop laughing and smiling, but is that so wrong??? I love you girls. From the moment we met each other last year, it was instant friendship! Don't hate. Girls just like to have fun.

I'm having lunch with Cheryl today!! :)

One of my favorite quotes of this semester:
ED11A student: Dude.. that's baller
Our ED11A GSI: Baller? What is this baller?
ED11A student: Baller... you know... like shot caller.

Some other randomness:

IT'S A JOKE! J-O-K!
WHATEEEEEEVER! HOW DARE YOU!
B***Y tassles!
Uh-huh uh huh
Ring formation!
Helloooo (vogue arm thing)
Due to popular demand...
Sadducees...
Whoa, what the...
*Awkward cat*
Can you feel the love tonight? + Kiss the Girl
Is Ted high...?

Just a taste of first semester.
