"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

Worshiping Him in spirit and truth.

I feel like I've been away from school for so long, and yet this year's Oak Glen retreat was one of the fastest one's yet.

It snowed the second night we stayed there and we praised God in a winter wonderland. :)

In a way, I feel very "neutral" right now. I'm not feeling especially different after this retreat. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing... I think my spiritual walk has been very constant this year--not saying that I haven't had my highs and lows, or that I haven't been growing, but I no longer get those temporary "spiritual highs."

Lord, perfect me until You return...

Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You I wait all the day.
- Psalm 25:5

Cheryl and I took a short trip to Berkeley today so that I could pick up a few things from school and my apartment. I also finally met Sally's sister Sandy! :)

Have I ever mentioned how thankful I am for a sister-in-Christ like Cheryl? It's amazing how from the age of six, we have witnessed each other's spiritual growth, seeing how God has worked in our lives and has shown us His faithfulness and mercy. She's one of the few, if not only, childhood friends that I can have fellowship with--encouraging each other, praying for each other, sharing each other's burdens... I LOVE YOU CHERYL SHEH!! :) :)
