"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

Year of the PIG (Pretty Intelligent Girl)

I'm finally home!!!

Today I spent 3 hours at Golden Gate Park, 2 hours for commute, and 1 hour eating at In N' Out. Quite an adventure, walk, and tan! I went for ED11B homework and why do they always spring these kinds of things on us (especially for a 3-day weekend)? We were so so happy when we finally reached the end of the park (we started at the panhandle)--beautiful beach on a beautiful day! Although, we somewhat cheated (drove for the very last 5 minutes). I took ~150 pictures. Crazy.

I barted my way back to Fremont and went straight to Chinese New Years Eve dinner with the immediate, extended, and even more extended relatives. I was a little disappointed with the food (last time we ate at that restaurant for lunch, it was fan-tas-tic), but still filling none-the-less! Afterwards, the family chilled at my uncle's house and opened up so many bottles of wine and champagne. I had grape juice. :) Why were my uncle and dad encouraging me to drink? I don't know... While they chatted it up, I went through a whole cupboard full of photo albums and looked back on when I was a youngin. I was... really strange. I made weird faces that are very similar to the ones I make now. Afterwards, I practiced my Chinese listening skills by listening to my family members converse back and forth.

I have lots of homework and studying to do this weekend... better start tomorrow.

Have a happy Chinese New Year. I know I will... with $400.

P.S.
I really enjoyed Ben's sermon yesterday.
It's so important to...
Love Truth. Seek Truth.
