"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

History of Architecture essay outline. Done.

It's time to play. Spring break. Yayuh.

I've been complaining about how this spring break is going to be boring (aside from visiting Cheryl at USF and having the freshman "Stud House" come visit Fremont) probably because so many of my friends are gone, my parents work, and my brother has school. But you know what I realized? I don't need them. Good riddance. Haha just kidding of course. What I really realized is that I can have some alone time and RELAX. I can enjoy the great weather, drive around, and chill with my dog.

What I would like to do during spring break:
1. Play tennis with the ball machine
2. Play piano
3. Finish listening to Resolved sermons
4. Review ET2 notes
5. Do the small amount of homework I have
6. Read A Chance to Die

What I've been listening to these days: Mozart's Magic Flute and Lecrae. Dang, good stuff.

What else is good stuff? My dad has officially given me permission to drive to Berkeley to go to church. :) So I went today! Pastor John's second part sermon on "Defying Death" was such an amazing encouragement. The Word is definitely a nourishment to my soul. One thing I really get caught up about is doubting my salvation ("how do I know I'm REALLY saved?") based on my lack of fruits and good works. Salvation isn't something gained and later lost. God promises and ensures eternity once it is given. To say that human behavior determines one's salvation is to ROB God of His glory. I'm so foolish. My lack of faith results in undermining God's infinite glory. He deserves ALL glory.
