Random late-night entry
For dinner I ate tater tots, potato wedges, and mashed potatoes. Eh. I'm glad my resin model is good to go and I'm ready to BS during critque tomorrow. :) My GSIs this semester are bomb, and so nice, and so gracious. Puritan prayers are beautiful. "Lord Jesus, if I love thee my soul shall seek thee, but can I seek thee unless my love to thee is kept alive to this end?" God has been testing my heart and my faith... may I persevere and abide in Him always. My biggest peeve: Christian and non-Christian relationships. Why? Because dating should be for the purpose of marriage. God ordained marriage as a union and yoking between a brother and sister in Christ to glorify Him as one flesh. Because God reflects a marriage relationship with His relationship and love for Christ and His Church. It's direct disobedience to His Word. I don't want to hear any excuses of missionary dating. There is no such thing as missionary dating. Check those motives, please. Do they glorify God? Actually anything we do... We're such selfish people, aren't we? Let us not rob God of His all-deserving glory. When my mind acts without thee it spins nothing but deceit and delusion; When my affections act without thee nothing is seen but dead works. O how I need thee to abide in me.... When I see that all sin is in me, all shame belongs to me; let me know that all good is in thee, all glory is thine. edit 8:43 a.m. So sweet... Imagine how much sweeter it will be when Christ returns and we see Him face to face... |
