As the end of the school year is drawing to a close, I'm reminded by how God has been so faithful to me since day one as a freshman at Cal. Actually, He's been faithful since July 7, 1987. Plugging into and commiting to Eastbay Baptist Church of Berkeley was probably one of the best decisions I've ever made because MAN God has grown me! Most importantly, He has grown me for HIS purpose and for HIS glory! It's so awesome that He has included me in His perfect plan. :)
These last weeks have been hectic, but from seeing my emotional and physical weaknesses, I am thankful that God sustains me. My parents spontaneously visited me last Sunday and we had some good sushi. :) Guess what? I'm bringing up my car next year! Daaaang, who would have thought? Not me. May 4th--ED11b ENDS!!!! And! Watching Spiderman 3! YES! I've waited for this moment for half a year. HAHA! Yesterday was Senior Banquet and it was so bittersweet. I was very encouraged by the body and thankful for genuine believers! Something Pastor John said last night that convicted me: God is interested in the eternal. He desires our soul and yearns for our sanctification. That is true security, satisfaction, and success. The worldview of a believer and a non-believer--black and white. As I get older, time just flies faster. I'm constantly reminded by how fleeting this world is. Let's hope for the unseen! These are some of the many people I'm thankful for...       |
