Something I read while I was in China that I've been chewing on for awhile:
"And to man He said, 'Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; And to depart from evil is understanding.'" - Job 28:28 Been learning and being challenged by what it means to fear the Lord and what is wisdom... Dang, Job and Proverbs are good. AH, God! I'm so undeserving of all the blessings in my life. A certain someone mentioned to me that his favorite song was 'Amazing Grace' and especially the part where it says, "that saved a wretch like me." What a sobering phrase... how can anyone honestly say to themselves that they are righteous without the blood of Christ? So thankful! :) -- So after taking the risk of sharing a drink, my throat became sore two days later and now I have a slight cough. :( Not insinuating that there's a correlation... but.... HAHA. It's okay. :) It's... all... good... We watched Disney Robin Hood yesterday! Aw, it brought back so many childhood memories. It was kinda ironic because my brother and his friends were watching The Last Samurai (my brother and some of his friends aren't even 17 yet) and Nate and I were watching... a Disney cartoon. When Nate left, my mom gave him a hug. Awkward, but kinda cute. Oh this is a little old, but here's a video about my high school. At 00:14, that was my AP Chem teacher! And my brother shows up at 01:38, 01:46, and 01:59! |
