"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

Eleven years later

Today my dad has been uploading videos from me and my brother's childhood from the video recorder onto the computer. I've never seen these clips before and wow, I was a wild child.

There's a video of my 9 year old birthday party. There's a clip of me opening my presents and reading Cheryl's birthday card....

Me: "You're as sweet as Mrs. Curtis (our 3rd grade teacher) and as faithful as Honey. I'll miss you when we go to college." COLLEGE!?!

Oh my gosh.......... We're so old.

There's also a clip in which I flip Honey by grabbing her front two legs (Cheryl's recording) and then I wrap her in my arms and say, "Aw, I'm sorry Honey... are you ok? Oh no, she won't stop shivering." After I saw that I was laughing hysterically. Poor Honey... I was so abusive.
