"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

Go away, herpes!

Summer is sadly, but surely, coming to a bittersweet end.

With summer school now over, I'm left with really nothing to do. I've been trying to tell myself to go outside and hit some tennis balls. The heat is discouraging me, but I really need to get rid of the extra pounds I gained from vegging around the house and eating EGGO blueberry waffles whenever I please. Other than that, my $5 desiringGod.com order came in so I have plenty to read!

I went to my eye appointment today. Guess what? Back to glasses for a while. :( Well, my doctor said I should limit my contact lens wear to five hours a day, but I'm going to try to wear glasses as much as I can. I kind of want a second opinion, though. Remind me to be content, please!

Big Sur made me tan. Sharing a tent with Cassandra and Sally reminded me of my old house (minus Junia). We named our tent "Love Tent!" Except, I didn't sleep well mainly because the ground was too hard and Cassandra woke me up three times in the middle of the night. One of those times consisted of her jumping on me screaming, "Oh my gosh!" Apparently she thought there was a woodland critter (or beast) besides our tent. I just woke up half-awake and confused. The stop at the Monterey Bay Aquarium was quite nice; I love aquariums and zoos. I love observing God's creations!

Studio in the fall... AH!

Yayuh 2 $20 Six Flags Discovery Kingdom tickets won on eBay. Can you guess who I'm going with?
