"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

Plastered knuckles

Emotional weekend.
Can't always be rainbows and sunshine.
Why do teenage boys enjoy crushing though plaster?
Vented emotion strengthens family ties.
I love my family. Must continue to pray.

Taiwan was awesome.
Growing closer to a random group of brothers and sisters.
Growing closer to faithful Taiwanese brothers and sisters (how much more they love the church than I do!).
Getting fat from oily cheap foods (ziii maaa qiuuuu!).
Seeing and chatting with relatives I haven't seen in forever.

Taiwan was tiring.
Finding myself falling asleep during prayer meetings.
Clapping my hands every ten seconds in mosquito paranoia.
Laboring Monday to Friday in packed ministry.
Trusting in the Lord in everything that I do.
Sharing the gospel countless times a week.
Sharing the gospel in broken Mandarin.

Praise the Lord for all that He provides and all that He does.
