"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

It's been four days since I've been in Copenhagen. Here are a few excerpts of an email I sent to my parents and how they responded.

"My roommate is okay. She's originally from Ukraine and Jewish"

"Actually, it is best way to know a country and their people is just walking around and observe their way of living. Living with another person is also an experience at least you know the Jewish way in person. Not just from Fiddler on the Roof."
- Dad

"I stopped by a candy store and bought a belgium waffle with soft serve icream on top (don't be mad, mama)."

"Don't worry to eat some ice cream because I know you are going to walk a lot."
- Mom

Sigh... They crack me up.
