"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us...For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

- Romans 8:18-25

As you can see, I love Tuesdays and Fridays... I usually just sleep in (not by much, I wake up at 8:30 a.m.) and chill. This usually consists of catching up on blogs, reading, playing with my dogs, exercising, and GRE studying.

Even though I'm not working full-time, I'm being so graciously provided for by my parents right now, and the money I'm making off of part-time is not too shabby. Thankful! I have a rough outline of what I want to write about for my college applications, but I don't think I'm going to start until at least a month later.

I've been and will be working on a project at EDAW for the next few months: the NASA Ames campus. Ultimately, I want to incorporate it into my personal statement...it fits in perfectly with the type of stuff I want to work on post-graduate school: urban design and traffic demand management.

After I take the GREs, which will hopefully be once (by the way, I really really suck at standarized testing), I want to be LEED accredited so I'm probably going to start studying for that after I apply to schools, which will be around February.

Sometimes my mom exasperates that I should've applied for schools last year because this upcoming year is a "waste", but I really disagree.

Had I applied to schools a year before, I wouldn't have been able to study abroad in Denmark, become interested in urban planning, and most importantly, have a personal drive to want to learn more.
